I have a pdf I want to read and am wondering how to do this. When I
opened it from Finder it opened in Preview and I was able to read some

That's interesting. Then again, my gateway is my Time Capsule, so I can
easily extend the network outside in the yard with my Express. I have never
tried it with non-Apple equipment.

I'm not sure what you mean by scanning in this context. If you have PDFs,
they are already scanned or created from text files. If they've been scanned,
just go to the PDF file, do VO-Shift-m to get a contextual menu, then navigate

how do i go about searching for a word to jump to? EG i want to look for text
