Another thing I notice is, at least for overseas users, it does not seem
possible to buy the product digitally. By that, I mean that we have to have a
boxed version shipped which is a total pain.
Kind regards

Hi Chris,
No you misunderstand: I’ve been trawling the web and from my reading it seemed
that the best setup for Protools 10 was under Lion. It was nothing you had
intimated in your mail.

Hi all,
I’m running a later version of OSX than Lion on a machine with two hard disks.
On the second of these I wish to (as it were) retro-fit Lion and then dual
boot. Is this possible? I have the Lion installer downloaded but when I run
it, VO reports “no windows”. Any thoughts welcome.
Hi all,
I've recently added my iCloud mailbox and find it's appearing right at the
bbottom of mailboxes. I have a number and really would like to access this
quickly. I know I can use the Item Chooser but, ideally, would like to earmark
a Command numberkey to go straight there, as with the
Hi all,
I am trying to add my second email account to the mac.
I must be missing something, I put in my correct password.
I don't understand. I am following the prompts and still I can't get or receive
mail on that account. I use tampabay.rr.com and i have 2 email accounts.
Any ideas?

If it is imap then got to mail prefs, then accounts, then that mail account and
click the advanced tab.
Now go all the way to IMAP Path Prefix: and enter in the text field
INBOX
then close and save the account by hitting the save button.. Now check to see
if you get emails.

Not sure if the path is the same, but I also had trouble doing pop and apple
mail. I dunno why. Nothing seemed to happen when I would check for mail. I'm
guessing that's what's going on?

Somebody with more knowledge will tell you better than perhaps I can, but I
don't think you can do this. However, would it really save you much time when
as you know, you can either use the item chooser, then first letter navigation

Hi Folks:
anyone know of a good word processor software program that has extensive
keyboard commands such as:
start of line; end of line; beginning and end of page; beginning and end
of document; cursor by character, word, sentence, paragraph; ETC.
And does anyone know of a good word
TextEdit fulfills all these requirements.
E.G. Command right arrow end of line, command left arrow start of line,
option right arrow one word at a time option up and down arrow etc etc.
You can also set paragraph reading on rota so just pressing up or down arrow
will read paragraph at at time.
Assuming you are running Lion or Mountain Lion, one way to accomplish this is
to use Mail's Favorites Bar. Mailbox Aliases that are placed in the Favorites
Bar can be directly accessed by pressing Command+ a corresponding number. Here
are the steps to follow.
1. Toggle on the Favorites Bar
And if you want to remove a favorite? I forgot how to do it as I want to keep
it organized and take away folders I don't use. I know I'm supposed to drag it
off of the fabs bar but cannot for the life of me remember how.
Thanks.

Hi Jim, those are all standard text editing keystrokes you mentioned. TextEdit
will do that's fine. However, it doesn't have a user definable keyboard

There's a good Podcasts on Apple this by David Woodbridge about text editing it

The thing is, I have two email accounts with tampabay.rr.com and though I
know my password is correct, I still can't add it. Its truly driving me
crazy.
