Hey, could someone actually tell me where to go to find that AppleVis
accessibility guide page? I'd love to show that to a sighted friend of mine
who knows hardly anything about Voiceover, but is a dev, and is working on
an app. He's extremely! interested in reading up to be sure from the very
Geoff,
You know? You make an extremely valid point. I honestly never even thought
about that. And, for me being a dev myself, that's quite patheticly
embarrassing for me to admit. LOL! My thing is, I've seen it in quite a
few places, not just BardMobile. For this reason, I guess I just
Lol! Love the foot ball reference. I hand no idea megabus had an ios app!
Yeah! Cool! this will make a trip I'm planning easier to plan. lol!
Anyway back to the subject. I also suspect that it is a UI thing rather then an
all out voice over bug that's global. If some can find out what control i
I can confirm Chris's observation while attempting to peruse Magazines via the
BARD mobile app, however believe this is more of a function of how the
UIPickerViewController in question was coded.
For example, I was trying to bring the international audience into this

Funny I don't have that issue, and they are actually called pickers, not
tickers. All you have to do is find the bottom of the page as that's where they
normally are. I have never yet, key word yet, lost focus on any pickers of any
kind. When I'm done I just flick left to done and the item picke
After being alerted to this problem, I took a look. This is definitely a big
bug with a stinger and a nasty bite. I've seen pickers with hundreds of items
inside, and it makes it impossible not to just figuratively throw the iPhone
across the room. We definitely need to inform Apple.

Definitely, really annoying.

I just tried using the ticker items and doing my work around as I discussed
in the previous message that I sent the list. I was hoping, in I O S when
getting to a ticker item, I could just siply use the item chooser list
instead of flicking through the ticker items one by one, thus eliminating
Has anyone noticed in I O S 7.02 that Apple in combination with Voiceover,
broke the ticker items? Now, when there is one, you can't touch the bottom
half of the screen any longer to get to it... you gotta flick to it. It's
the only way, case closed. Second of all, once focussed, if you then
I guess we'll see on oct 22nd apple event weather they anounce it.

Well, I took a look, and though I can't disclose my findings, what I will
promise everyone is this. Let's just hypothetically say that audio Facetime
is, not! in Mavericks. I'm not saying it is, but I'm not saying it isn't.
I can't go into it. All I will say is that if it is not included, res
Yeah, true. I never really thought about that with Skype. Good point.

I don't think I remember hearing that in the key notes andI rely on those. I
also never saw that on a what's new page I found on apple's site regarding osx
10.9. I looked.
Take care.

No you can't do FaceTime audio on ml and yes it still uses the site camera. I
don't think the mac will ever have audio face time. Tha'ts what skype is for.

Hi Chris,
I'll interleave answers after your questions, prefaced with a bullet symbol. I
had problems creating custom notes on an iPad with VoiceOver using iOS 7 (your
last question), which may be an iOS 7 specific bug, and why this reply took so
long. I checked the process of note creation in
