Hi all,
I have my iPhone 4S and have held back from updating to ios7 in case it isn't
so accessible.
Are there any good reasons not to update?
I use my phone with VO and mostly without looking at the screen, though I can
see positions of some screen content in low light levels.
Thanks all,
It is 100 percent accessibil. And pretty snappy at that! Go head and update. I
have 2 podcasts is be happy tah give you regarding ios7.

In conclusion SSL / TLS is good to secure the connection, e.g. between your
mail client and your mailserver, and gpg is usefull to encrypt your message
content no matter if connections are secured or not. Both are absolutely
different tecniques.

Not sure about low vision under iOS 7 but VO is definitely in iOS 7 and is just
as accessible as iOS 6 and before. There has however been some issues regarding
screen sensitivity, but this has been fixed as of the latest update, 7.0.4. So
now might be the right time to update.

One big reason I believe to update is security. A lot of people started hacking
IOS6 because others thought it could not be done. IOS7 contains things that
stop that. Also being they are not working on IOS6 anymore it would be just
safer to have the latest update. At least that is what I hear.

I like some of the new features in IOS7 and am happy with Apple’s continuing
commitment to building out the accessibility options in IOS, but there are some
functions on my AT&T iPhone 4S that do not work as well under IOS7 as they did
under the last version of IOS6, though things have improved
IMac running Mavericks.
When I tab through my appointments V O speaks each twice.
Whyy, how can I fix this to only read it once?

Hi!
I bought some Nickel Zinc rechargeable batteries 2 months ago and I've had them
in my Apple Mouse, Apple Keyboard and Apple Trackpad connected to my Mac via
bluetooth for a month exactly today.
Battery levels for each device are still at 100% and this is something I've
never seen before.
Chris,
On a 4S, you may notice a slow-down.
It will help to turn off the automatically updating of apps.
You can also dial-down the graphics if you use VO.
These are just a couple tips I heard on NPR.

I desire not to put windows on my Mac.
My optic book 3600 and Kurzweil will only work in a Windows environment.
So, what scanner should I use? Then I'll have to figure out what OCR program to
use.
Thank you for any and all help!

Hey guys,
I just got the latest version of Garage Band. Do any of you know of any good
voiceover tutorials for the current version of garage band? I'm having a hard
time learning how to do things, specifically add loops to a track, and I can't
seem to find a good vo tutorial either. I'm not sure
I know recardo walker did a good set for the older garage band. You can
find it on his apple to the core podcast of which he posts the feed links on
this list I wonder if his steps will still apply like copying a loop from the
finder to the track if you have mp3 loops. if not you can probabl

Hi All,
Just thought I'd add some more app deals from this weekend. I've posted these
to AppleVis, too. If you're an iOS gamer, and you didn't pick up Papa Sangre II
when it was on sale a couple of weeks ago, you have another chance to get this
Audio game:
