Hi, Folks. When I’m on the NPR.ORG Web site and want to listen to the hourly
newscast, I can’t seem to get it to play. What might I be doing incorrectly?
I just upgraded to Mavericks. Thanks in advance.

Hi All,
I have been able to use Windows screen readers to successfully
read the graphics. Unfortunately, the Windows screen readers won't
read all the math symbols correctly, but VO will.
I will try the different browsers once I get access to a Mac

Hi all,
I’m using the iPad air with the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard cover. I’ll
digress for a second to say that this is a lovely accessory for the iPad air.
I have a situation where I have a long long list of emails in one of my
folders. There are several hundred in there. Is there a way
Hi,
I am interested in this also. I haven't found away to change all or ignore all
in either TextEdit or iText Express. I am also running ML. Any work around to
obtain these features would be great.
Best,
Eileen

You missunderstand me I think. This has nothing to do with
Disk Usility at all. It simply creates a bootable disk with the
currently installed operating system as its base. As for erasing
your hard drive, that is not possible. OS X will not permit you
to erase the current boot device.
This is getting off topic for this group. Feel free to take it
over to Techno-chat if you want to continue this thread.

Gordon,
Yes I get that, but if you go into recovery mode, you can erase the hard drive,
which is why you need to have an install disc or some other medium of
reinstalling the OS, if you don't, you're pretty much stuck.

Hi Donal. I find that if you have the rota set to containers, it cuts down on
the number of keystrokes needed to get to the message area. Hope this helps?

Hi there,
That’s an excellent suggestion. Containers are not something I use often. The
mail app was just an example, but I take your point that this would work very
well.

Sorry if I did not get this correctly. Is there a way in which I can reorder
the daisy mp3 files, so they play correctly in the mac? Is there an app or
something to make a correct playlist? Thank you very much!

You can use the free Mac Daisy Book Reader called Olearia.
This is limited to Audio Files and has few bells and whistles but is free.
Read Here is apparently good but a very expensive option. It is probably
cheaper to buy Fusion and use a free Windows option but that is off topic
so I will not
Generally on the Mac I never use actual spell check.
Rather I use command semi colon whilst in the edit text to jump to the next
misspelt word which is automatically highlighted. You can then use VO to
read the line in context. You can also easily pull down a context menu
which contains
Hi Everyone,
Wondering if anyone has had problems with sim cards in their iPhone 5S.
Yesterday the card stopped working, giving me a no service notification on the
screen. Got it back once with a reset, but the problem has come back with
nothing working this time to wake it up.
When I ordered
Hi, that sounds like a problem with the card reader not the actual sim card. I
have seen it before and yes they do replace your phone when it is that as the
issue, but if it is the actual card you can go to your carrier and they will
swop them out.

Hello,
Thanks for that. Will go to my carrier’s local store near me. I am in Canada,

Again, thanks for the reply.

Hello Michael,
ITunes lets you select multiple tracks and use the Get Info shortcut
