I would like to query the group to see if anyone is successfully
running VoiceOver with Mavericks on a MacBook Pro of similar specs.
2GB RAM sounds low. I don't want to attempt an update to Mavericks and
have serious problems. Looking up on the Apple site, Mavericks is
listed as being able to run

To click on a link in a email just interact with the link with vo shift down
arrow then press vo space to open the link.

I tried that and VO says the web content is empty. Yet when I try with the
IPhone, the link opens just fine but it hangs up along the process of doing the
survey.

Make sure the link is selected. You are correct; the command is Command-C. Is
