What kind of note taker do you have/? and are you sure it can be shown as a
drive? Maybe some drivers on the note taker or mac side are out of date?
I'd contact the company as well of your device and let them know what's going
on as well.

There is also a ethernet to thunderbolt adaptor, as well as one for USB. You
can get these adaptors from Apple. I use one that adapts firewire to
thunderbolt for connecting an external backup drive.

I read the below with interest as I did not know such a dongle exists. This
is good to know because even with the latest Yosemite update I still do not
get a constant wi-fi connection on my Mac Book Air. Anyone else have this
problem with MBA?
