Hey guys. Please, can somebody email me directly off list to help me through
this. I have a university who is very invasive to the student population. They
are constantly gaining illegal access to student computers via their web access
on their servers. I am trying to alter my computer to not be recognised by the
server in stealth mode. Here is the problem. I have altered the name of my
computer to “MacBook Pro 2014” and it still currently showes up in my home
network settings both with stealth mode on, and stealth mode off, as
Douglass-AIR. I am trying to make the computer completely invisible to all
networks, yet either show an alias, or not show, while still giving me network
access. Please help me sort this issue out. I have a 2012 MBA
