Hello, I am running the latest IOS 8 on iPhone 5S and the latest IOS 7 on iPhone 4 and the latest Yosemite and iTunes on iMac. I currently have iCloud drive disabled. I currently sync contacts and calendar across all 3 devices.
I am considering enabling iCloud drive but am concerned that this may prevent calendar/contacts sync to IOS 7. I have searched the forums but cannot find a definitive answer on whether migrating to iCloud drive will prevent calendar/contacts sync to devices running IOS 7. Am I correct in thinking that any migration to iCloud drive is irreversible? Once done you cannot go back to no iCloud drive. Hence I am reluctant to try it in case calendar/contacts sync to my IOS 7 device is permanently clobbered. Many thanks for any definitive information on this question. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all listers….
