I’m not sure yet, still figuring it out but it is definitely a keeper for me.
To the person who asked how I found the American-English Google TTS voice, I
went to the Options page of Chromevox by hitting Command-Control-O and then O
by itself. All the voices are listed there. This page only seem
You're correct, Josh, and I just wrote very specific instructions on how to
do it.

Hi everyone. I’ve been playing around with Chromevox a bit, and I love it. I
just found the Google American-English voice, I think Grizelda is her name. She
doesn’t sound that bad. A bit snobbish perhaps, but I still like her. I wonder
if she has any relation to Grizelda of the now-defunct eVoic
Success! Thanks bunches. Now I'm off to explore Chromevox.

Maybe try the following steps. These assume the current stable build of Chrome
running under MacOS 10.9.2. Also, since you will be using VO during the process
of initially installing ChromeVox, keep in mind that VO does not always work
the same in Chrome as it does in Safari or straight webkit.
I would contact the google chrome list as they are the ones that handle chrome
vox. You can subscribe by sending a blank message to

Take care.

Hi everyone. I’m trying to install Chromevox but I think I’m a bit lost. The
Chromevox website at http://www.chromevox.com says to activate the “Add to
Chrome” button, but I’m not finding that. Where might I be going astray here?
Here is where I went to try and get Chromevox.
