I am no expert re selecting text etc, and i should tell you that of all the
VO gestures, selecting text is the least well thought out. It seems to vary
depending upon where you are re apps etc, so you can never be quite sure. The
easiest way to deal with selecting text is to use a
Nevermind guys. I figured it out. The problem was I needed to use two fingers,
not three, four, and certainly not five.
Now, seeing that this is been an ongoing problem for several months but that is
totally baffled me, I am feeling pretty stupid.
Oh well, live and learn I guess, ha ha?

OK, a lot of you have told me that you can do a penching gesture to select
and unselect text if I need to copy something directly from a web page or
from an e-mail. I'm just not seeming on my IPhone 5 to have any luck with
this at all. I've tried and tried and tried, and it just doesn't work.
