hi John,
oh thanks so much! it was the horizontal or vertical splitter that was causing
the problem! I had no idea what the splitters were even for. but now I have
both set to zero and I can use vo J to jump back and forth between the two
tables and can copy and paste to my heart's content.

There is a splitter next to the table with your folders. Interact with
the splitter and try collapsing it. YOu might have some problems and get busy
signals with Safari, but eventually, you should then see the second table of
the actual bookmarks.

Thanks Sarah, There is both a bookmarks menu, and a bookmarks bar, and I wanted
to delete from the bookmarks menu. With both yours and Colin's explanations, I
was able to figure it out! Even though I've been using computers since the
80's, I am not particularly computer minded. I do my best a
Hi Colin, Thanks so much! That worked for sure! I think I was getting
confused because when I press Cmd-Option-B, I was getting either a Hide or Show
bookmarks message. Anyway, it worked with a little dining around.

Hi Desi!
OK it should work for you!
1. hit command+option+b
you should end up in a search field!
2. shift tab to the 1st table and interact!
Find the bookmarks menu! stop interacting and tab twice to the table of those
bookmarks and delete any you need to!

Thjere is a collection called book marks menu. I edit mine all the time there.
so hit cmd option b and navigate to the book marks bar collection I think
that's what that's called, or if not book marks menu collection if that exists.
Take care.

Thanks! For whatever reason, that didn't work for me! Maybe it's because when
I add a new bookmark, I have it saved directly to the bookmarks menu.

I think my subject line pretty much states my inquiry, but I now have some
bookmarks in my bookmark menu that are no longer valid. I'd like to get rid of
them, but am not sure how to go about it. Any help would be greatly
appreciated!
