accepting file transfers in messages on the mac?

Hi all, in Messages on the Mac, under Mavericks 10.9.2, I can’t figure out how to accept file transfers. I’ve tried interacting with the file transfer group, and all it says is the format of the file, and the name of the file. I’ve tried hitting VO space on the name of the file, since VO says
