Hi Chris,
If you really want to empty the trash, and don't care about any of the files,
from the finder, press command+option+shift+delete. This should go ahead and
completely empty the trash without any prompting.

Good afternoon all.
I am having a problem eptying the trash. This has been happening for a
while now. Here is what I do.
1. I press command-shift-delete in the Finder.
2. I am asked if I want to securely erase the trash. This is my personal
preference so I let it go ahead.
