Hi Diane,
You need to be in a text field -- somewhere you would be typing -- in order to
access the typing mode with the rotor. The easiest way is to start from the
home screen on the iPad and click the home button once so you are in the
Spotlight search field. Then use the rotor as Tommy sug
Use the rotor. When you get to typing swipe up or down.
