Hello Nic OK, maybe I didn't explain myself too well; so let me try again. :) I was trying to read webpages with the trackpad, for better to understand how it worked so that I could assist my disabled employee with her situation.
I tried to read a website using the Trackpad with Trackpad commander turned on. But when I executed the gestures flick right to move down, left to move up, etc. the VO cursor would go shooting away off the page and focus would land somewhere else entirely. Focus would not always land within Safari either, sometimes in another app completely. I discovered that, if I disable opening of multiple tabs when trying to read the webpage that way, it worked fine. So I will suggest to Gillian that she adheres to that; although I think she only has one tab open at a time anyway. Does that clarify things a little for you?> Lynne On 25 Jul 2011, at 16:12, Nicolai Svendsen wrote: Hi lynne, I'm guessing I don't quite understand what you were trying to do with the trackpad and VoiceOver. Opening multiple tabs, I have no trouble navigating. I've also been reading the thread again with no better understanding of your potential problem. Would you mind elaborating? I'm sure you already have, and for that I apologize, but please humor me. I'd love to cut down on traffic and avoid asking this on list, but since this sounds like a potential VoiceOver problem perhaps, and if I'm not the only one not understanding what you were attempting to do, hopefully there's a way. <--- Mac Access At Mac Access Dot Net ---> To reply to this post, please address your message to mac-access@mac-access.net You can find a monthly formatted archive of all messages posted to the Mac-Access forum at the following URL: <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/mac-access/index.html> The Mac-Access mailing list is guaranteed malware, spyware, Trojan, virus and worm-free!
