Dear listers,
I have just discovered the facility to read text out into a mp3 file.
Unfortunately the read back speed is set at a really slow rate. Does anyone
know how to speed up this rate?

sure. at the top of the file put {{rate xxx}} where the 3 x characters are a 3
digit number.
I can't remember if it is 1 left brace or 2 but try it out.
