Hi all. I'm trying to reinstall mac osx. Things are way to busy. So I do
command ® to get to the repair mode, turn on voiceover, then select install Mac
OS. I get to the Apple ID signin thing, and cannot type into the edit field.
The letters I type just aren't entered. What should i do?

Well, my mac is doing amazingly! Alex has no glitching, there are no busy

I may try this myself as Safari has definitely slowed up under Mavericks
and
switching between applications is a drag, especially Mail.
Do I have to erase the MacOs drive in recovery before I can do a clean
install?
At the moment all that I can see is an option to re-install
