In addition to the ones already listed, there's text edit (which is a
whole lot more than just a text editor, and it comes with the os),
there's bean which you can find at:

which works well with vo, and handles most things you'd need to do
with word processi
A matter of purely personal opinion this one but my favourite by far is
Nisus Writer Pro, a link was posted to a most interesting and detailed review
of the software on list not all that long ago when the new version was launched.
