On another access tech list a trusted contributor advised that when she went to 
the apple store in Belfast she was told ( and received  the deduction in price 
) that all apple products that had voice over were exempt from the dreaded 
v.a.t ( value added tax ) which is currently an eye watering 20 per cent.
Knowing the kind heartedness of HMRC (Her majesty's revenue and customs ) I 
would hazard a guess that this loop hole will be rapidly addressed so if you 
are thinking of buying any voice over device go grab it now!

BTW the person concerned said the  assistant concerned double checked before 
offering the reduction.
