Yeah. in theory you cannot eject your mac's internal hard drive, in theory
anyways. Not sure about in practice though.

it would seem you've bumped the enter key and the backspace key and left it
untitled.
that's the only thing I can think of as to why the folder would keep coming
back.

After I thought I deleted that folder from my desktop once and for all
yesterday afternoon, I asked my sighted husband to verify this for me! I
wanted to make sure it wasn't hiding somewhere where I just wasn't finding it.

One thing you might be running into problems with is focusing on the folder.
Tap the arrow keys a few times until it is selected, and command delete should
work from there.

Yesterday, while at my iMac, someone said something to me, I turned, and
accidentally bumped something on my keyboard. VoiceOver said, "Desktop,
Untitled Folder.: No matter what I do, I can't get rid of it! I can work
around it for sure, but would sure like to get it off my desk
