Hi!
Just updated to the latest VLC Media Player and it seems more accessible than
ever before, here are several things I've noticed.
You can see the playlist in VLC and manipulate the items within, delete, play
etc, the items are laid out within a table.
The media library control is extensive
I love vlc and always have loved it. It was always for me accessible as the
developer included help tags. I never used the play list as I didn't need it.
The app plays everything including wmas if you have flip player installed.

Its in the Playback menu I think and I'm sure it has a shortcut assigned to it.

I think it can be safely said that VLC would play just about 99% of the
media files known to those on Planet Earth.
