The apple ear buds will never be a stereo mic as it only has 1 mic. You would
need a stereo mic for that to work. I can't think of one one at the top of my
head but good luck.

by the way, if you have Apple earbuds, they can also be used as a microphone,
although I've not been able to get them to be a stereo mic, as they have two
earpieces, only mono.

1. hit vo f8 to go to utilities.
2. hit cmd 6 on the number row to get to sound.
3. go to the pop up button where the device is at and choose your what ever
you want the device to be
4. hit enter to close the pop up button.
