I just purchased an imac after running windows for about 20 years.
Still getting familiar with the keyboard and terminology.
I can see my purchases okay, but cannot download to the mac as I get the
message that the machine is not authorized. I've done this when running
windows, but

Try going into the Store menu in iTunes, with vo-m, and you should find an
option in there to authorize your mac. I haven’t done this in ages so could be
mistaken.
