Hello to all. I've tried everything in the book but cannot seem to speed iTunes
up to its former self. I have a 46 mb library after removing about 3000
duplicates and restarting iTunes. I also delete all of my smart playlists since
I don't use them and got rid of any unnecessary stuff for playback since I
don't use it. I followed all things in blog posts, apple forums and stuff but
iTunes still takes about 10 or so seconds to load up. My library is on an
external drive and my .itl file is on my internal drive but it still should not
be that slow. Any suggestions to this?

Thanks and happy holidays.

Sarah Alawami.
