The default way to move around numbers now is to interac with the spreadsheet
and use the VO keys, as you say. I wouldn’t call this a problem, just a
different way of doing things. Interacting as a concept is pretty important to
the Mac experience in general. If you like, I’d suggest
I always enteracted with numbers, by doing v o down arrow twice. After that,
all I had to do was use the arrow keys or tab, to go from one cell the next.
I understood that it was necessary to vo down arrow twice to move around the
spread sheet.
Numbers is also moving very slowly in Mavericks,
