Hi mate it does the same to me also. I have to say I like mavericks but I find
it can be slow to load things sometimes.

hi all i now note in mac 10.9 as you are in finder that voiceover does
not say selected when on a file or folder?
it is like cursor tracking is off when in fact it is enabled is this right
behaviour?
