Yes at first it does look like OS navigation is heavy keyboard usage. However,
you soon learn quicker ways. Like Sarah, I have turned of the preview pane. I
also have the preview lines set to 5. Thus I don't need to press enter to open

Actually what i do is just set up server side filters so gmail takes care of
moving stuff in to labels/folders then I just ignore the conversations i don't
want to read. I do a mass delete at the end of each month to archive everything
in to my all mail folder. also some of these messages are
I'm taking another stab at apple mail. I've setup my accounts, and a few
rules as well. Everything looks fairly straight-forward and is working well as
far as it goes. here's my question:
What's the quickest way of reading through messages? It looks like VO + J from
message list to message
I disabled the preview pain and just hit enter to read my messages, then led
rand right arrow through to read them. I also have headers turn doff in the
viewing section of mail prefs.
