hey guys, I'm trying to download files from my universities website, they are pdf documents, but they when i open the context menu on said file, and clicking either download selected file or download selected file as, no matter what, even though I'm downloading a pdf, it always comes up in my do

well how it works is by default the university has their files that are posted online are programmed to default to open in acrobat reader. and I heard that acrobat reader is not accessible with vo, so is there something i can use on the mac to default open pdf's, from within safari? On 2013-0

There might be a setting withing Acrobat that someone needs to change which says "don't open this file in safari". I remember that on the *cough* other side of the great computing divide, the one we don't mention, that was how it used to work. Built into the mac is Preview though which usually
