Have you tried starting up from the CD? I think, for your model, all you need to do is restart with the CD in place and hold down the letter "c" on you keyboard until you see that the CD has been used to start up from. It'll be obvious. Then, you can see if your hard drive is accessible. That's l

I am having problem getting iPhoto (2.0.1) recognizing the photos that are in the iPhoto Library. All I did was change the name of iPhoto Library to iPhoto LibraryX by adding an X after the name. I then erased the A after my other iPhoto LibraryA making it iPhoto Library. This worked as it sho

Interesting article, but a little inaccuracy crept in. Apple is not now at "near record" highs. IIRC, it was actually hovering around the 150 mark at one time. Right about then they announced a stock split was coming. Then, unfortunately, they came in about 2 or 3% under their project earnings
