Rex ,I think Apple does want a customer complaint dealing with
someone's else's songs on their iPod.
Giving Apple a bad rep.

That argument only holds if Apple also block all formats other than their
format (ie no mp3's on iPod either).
As mp3's lack DRM protection etc, I wouldn't be stunned to see that happen
someday.

Seems kinda anti-competitive, almost Microsoft-like. Hope Apple isn't

I downloaded Platypus and it looks like it may do what I want, but I'm
not familiar enough with scripting procedures and terminology to know
how to do it (although I'd like to be).
