It is now back in the upper corner. I went to finder/view/show view options/. The "Arrange by" check box was unchecked. As soon as I checked it, the hard drive went immediately back to the upper right. Somewhere along the line it must have gotten unchecked. Thanks a millions! Luann Jerry

The box for hard disk is checked in the finder preferences. The problem is that the hard drive opens in the middle of the screen instead of the upper right, so that when I want to open the hard drive, I have to move everything in front of it so I can then grab it to move it to to the upper rig

Use the non dvd player as the target disk. Connect the two computers with a firewire cable. shut down the non dvd computer. Restart it holding the T key down. When it boots in target disc mode load the Tiger disk in to your dvd drive and start it. Install tiger on your non dvd machine. Harry Mo
