I have my home page set for WHAS11 TV's weather. I have been having
somewhat the same problem with that page on Safari and Explorer. It
goes to the right page, but won't open... sometimes I get as much as
the headings... but no weather. My home page usually gives me the
Spinning Beach

I finally solved my problem by opening Explorer using an address in
mail . After opening Explorer I went to Preferences > Web Browser >
Browser Display and chose None as my home page. This way Explorer
opens on the desktop with no address in the address bar. I then go to
my save
at erdos.math.louisville.edu
