Alas, mine has crashed and I can't reboot from
disk because I can't get the drawer open. Any ideas?

I have a lampshade Mac which served me well from about 2003 until last year,
when the mother board went out. I still keep it around, because the HD is
good, and from time to time I discover that there's a file on the lampshade
that I want to transfer to one of my new Macs (via Firewire}.

Thanks, David; What a wonderful group we have. I am learning so
much. Is there a list of all of us participating? What or who holds
us together? We used to meet, long ago ( I could not get there now,
unless I had transportation,) but I wish we would get to know who we
are.
