While not a fan of AT&T. I am so fed up with insight. I pay for the 30 meg and what you get 80% of the time is 7-12 meg in the old Louisville Area. After 6PM and weekend it is in the 7-12 range and ping > 58 if your lucky. They keep refunding my money each month and say it is a known issue. I am told they have plans to fix it. The mifi service is not reliable either and spotty. I have one from Verizon and AT&T and issues with both. I was thinking of trying the switching to ATT&T since they added the big U to this area or at least trying on the 30day trail.
