I downloaded Firefox 3 per directions, and it's in
my finder, taking up space on my drive. It
replaced the previous Firefox version, which I do
have on my external drive, thank goodness. But I
can't open the new one. I click the icon or in
the finder, but no dice.
Any suggestions?
Suzanne, what do you mean it's in my finder? Are you referring to the
dock? If so, the dock icon might not have linked itself to the new
application. Drag the old dock icon to the trash and replace it with the new
one.
Also, how long are you waiting for it to do something? FF3 has a nasty habit
I figured it out: at the Mozilla site, it says
it's for X.4 and above. I'm running X.39.
