Okay, since my restore (after a screwy 10.5.7 install, I'm still on
10.5.6) my MobileMe is no longer syncing (calendars, contacts, etc).
When I click on the Sync icon in the menu bar, nothing happens. I can
open the MobileMe preferences in system preferences, but when I click
on Sync, nothing
Thanks for the warning. I thought installing 10.5.6 on my G5 was a
nightmare. What happened to the good old days- like when we were on
system 6?
But I suppose I should not complain. My Apple stock went up about
four grand last month.

I managed to fix this problem by deleting the local folder in the
syncservices folder and running a terminal command.
Well, I think it's fixed. Everything is still in the process of re-
syncing now.

I've updated three machines without any problems. (G5x2 and two Intel
machines: MacBook, mini).

At the speed that the update was running last night I could forsee
problems I shut every thing down
So that I could avoid a freeze.
