Internet Connect is taking over my iMac; help!
The following window keeps popping up:
It will even pop up over itself. I * can type few words and then that
thing pops up and I have to * hit OK and get * it out of the way.* . (*
means it?s popped up). Most annoying.
How do I get it to stop.?
Sorry about that first attempt. It does OK for me but probably doesn't
travel well.

Do this:
Open your Network Preferences
Choose your Internal Modem from the "Show" list
Click on the PPP tab
Click on the PPP Options button at the bottom
Remove the check mark in the "Connect automatically when needed" box
Click OK
Click Apply Now
This should do it.
