symptom of a bigger problem. all CPAN does is download and compile the
same source that i was using, with fewer configuration options. i'd like
to be able to freely configure mod_perl for use with my website.
however.
i force-installed Bundle::Apache, and httpd refuses to load. i'm not
gettin

mod_perl and have hit the following snag:

-DMOD_PERL -DUSE_PERL_SSI -pipe
Hey all,
I think I was installing libwww from CPAN and mindlessly said yes to a
couple of optional installs. Seems it overwrote my /usr/bin/head with a
perl module to interpret http HEAD calls.
Not fun! So I've had a hell of a time looking for a source install, a
package, something, somewhere
