Hey, how did you get your picture (I assume it's you...) to show up in
the upper right hand corner of your email message? I see nothing
apropos in the headers of your message, and you're not in my address
book.

I had a similar problem until I came across this page:

which includes the following parameters:
perl Makefile.PL --cflags=-I/usr/local/mysql/include/
--libs=-L/usr/local/mysql/lib -lmysqlclient -lz
On Thursday, December 4, 2003,
I cannot get DBD::Mysql to install.
I can connect to test just fine with the passwords I am supplying to
Makefile.pl when I use those on the command line.
When I try to make test I get this:
