Installing DBD::mysql on leopard server

Hi I see that people are having trouble installing DBD::mysql on Leopard. Following the hints on this forum I successfully installed it on my laptop but can't do the same on X Server on our server. Has anyone made the breakthrough on Leopard X Server - the include directory etc that were deplaced
