ccache really saves so much time, but it is off by default.
Assuming this is just because MacPorts installer does not contain ccache,
how about adding ccache into the installer and making configurecache
on by default?

I opened two tickets about a month ago relating to gnucash (#12497)
and guile16 (#12496).
The patches I attached to these tickets work for me and I have heard
from two other users that they work as well.
Could someone please commit these patches? Once they are committed
then I can updat
