A few more questions are popping up in my head during the development
of a Portfile for Geant4 & Gate.
The first one is the following: Let's say that Gate can depend either
on Geant4 9.5 or on 9.6 and that I decide to provide two port
variants, geant495 and geant496.
In case of dependence
I'm starting to wonder if we should include a bootstrapping version of Tcl
with Macports, in case some future version of OSX ships with a broken

Hi,
it seems ports.tar is not being updated regularly at the moment.
$> rsync rsync://rsync.macports.org/release/tarballs/ports.tar
gives me a file that is about 19h beind the repository.
Could you please look into that?
