upgrade/install fail libcanberra

for last few days i am trying to upgrade libcanberra . but facing http://trac.macports.org/ticket/19705 this bug. but can't see any solution. i removed +quartz +no_x11 from /opt/local/macports/variants.conf . and uninstalled gtk2 and cairo . right now i am building gtk2 again. am i doing right ?
