Is there an eta for when the Universal variant of gettext will be fixed? I
see a bug report for it, but the last update is ten days ago.

I am trying to install toluapp which as ha dependency of lua. Lua is at

I was installing a large port when my system KP'd. Upon restart, I tried to
continue installing the port, but get an error the the sqlite database

The conventional wisdom in such cases seems to be to dump and restore the
database. I can dump the database fine, but when I

Does the "virtualbox-guest-additions" port install the additions on the
current system (i.e., a VM of Mac OS X) or install the multi-platform .iso
file?
Thanks...

binary from Oracle. What has happended, though, is that MacPorts has
started recompiling dependencies with "+Universal" (currently on glib2).
What I don't understand is why this is necessary, particularly since

I went to install the python rdflib and noticed that while it is available
for python 2.4 through 2.6, it is not available for python 2.7 (no
py27-rdflib port). AFAIK, rdflib works under 2.7, so is this just an
oversight and, if so, could someone add a port?

I was wondering something about how the ticket process works.
A little over a week ago, I opened a ticket requesting a port (ticket
#33325). I susbsequently created a portfile myself and replied to the
