Actually, I got it going by uninstalling macports and reinstalling
from the up-to-date dmg. Simpler than I thought, I guess. Thanks for
the help everyone!

I got macports recently and I tried to install molden and gcc44 and neither of
them is installing. For Molden, it installed some other things, but never got

looking like it was working, just for like hours.

and it gave me this:

btw, i am getting fan of macports, you guys are doing great job.
i have good experience on C and some shell scripting. i want to contribute
