leopard install

Hi I am running a fresh install. I have searched through the mails and havent seen this (though maybe i missed it!). I using leopard, got the dmg MacPorts-1.5.0-10.5.dmg and ran the installer. It seems to hang about 70-80% of the way through. Is this a known issue? 1.8GHz PowerPC G5. Thanks Eoghan

a look at your files too. I dont understand your answer about gmail being POP... sylpheed supports POP3. I have setup gmail on Apple mail and thunderbird with no problems. As I said I can set it up fine with no problems, I just cant send any mail from sylpheed using my gmail account...
