Hi, I've just started to realise that with the current OS X implementation of DBus, it's just about impossible to run applications from a Mac on a remote X11 display when they need DBus features. For local displaying everything is fine because launchd will allow the dbus daemon to be found or started. But it isn't even possible to use dbus-launch manually to start a session dbus that's linked to an X11 connection.
Has anyone ever looked into re-activating the standard X11 code-paths in the DBus code, for instance under control of an env. variable?
