Hello! Can anybody confirm that a Macbook Pro C2D 15" 2.16 Ghz is running cooler (draws less energy) when using the vesa driver with xorg compared to the ati-drivers? With ATI-8.35.5 my fans are spinning with ca. 4000-5000 rpm, with vesa with 2500-3000 rpm, all values when idle. So i suspect t
