Wanted to add that my OS X partition was mounted on the desktop with a
mountpoint folder in /media. I had desktop access to my iTunes
collection out of the box! Fantastic!

Is this a core 2 duo or a core duo? I just upgraded for edgy to
feisty last night and it was pretty smooth and I had the nice same
experiences as you did, especially with pommed getting the function
keys to just work. I will probably do a fresh install at some point
in the future when I have more
